I hear ya. I just removed the old bump stops, put the bolt back in about 1/4 of the way, and hit upward with a BFH to knock off the factory bolt that is welded inside the support. Came right out. I then had to make the hole ever so slightly bigger. After that was complete I just bolted it on.
