In dash clock
My in dash clock in my 1999 4runner sr5 hasent worked since i bought the thing?
Has anyone else run into this issue or does anyone know how i might go about replacing or repearing it?

If you have an aftermarket stereo with a clock, think about replacing the factory clock with an outside thermometer. I used the same idea on my IS300 but for a trans temp gauge.
swap the clock for outside temp
trans temp gauge for IS300
swap the clock for outside temp
trans temp gauge for IS300

He has red and blue but check the dimensions of the blue ones. They may be a different size. For $13 it was well worth it.

The thread posted above is excellent. I did NOT want to remove the posts so I built up the contacts and stretched the springs slightly. The actual problem with my clock was a minute crack in the solder at one of those square (resistor??) thingies. Clock has been working perfectly ever since....
