Cost of Coils for 3.4?...
I am looking at buying a used 3.4 that is missing some of the coils. What are these worth to replace? I don't suppose that anyone makes an aftermarket ignition system for this engine that actually makes a difference? Might as well upgrade if I can right.

There isn't an ignition system available as a kit that doesn't use the existing OEM ignition. There are standalone systems, but nothing that you can simply install unless the existing OEM ignition system is working. You will need to replace the coil packs. You can get some at a wrecking yard as they very rarely fail.
