I have been confused and have noticed others expressing confusion regarding modifications due to lack of specifying which generation, model, engine, etc. they apply to/will work on. Is there any way to overall request that info be included with each mod writeup? Example: Air box mod on second generation....lots of talk about the mod, but nobody said it couldn't be done on my '95 Runner. (Please correct me if I'm wrong) Thanks!

I guess I am a little confused about the request here.
If you are talking about our Tech section, most of the write-ups include the engine and gen the mod was done on.

You say "Air box mod on second generation", it can surely be done on your rig since you own a 2nd gen.

Now I AM confused....I guess I was referring to the general forum and not the Tech section. I would swear I saw somewhere that an "airbox mod" could only be done on a 3rd generation? Thanks for your prompt reply....if I get "lost" again, I know who to ask. Thanks!

Uhhhh:pat: Read the tech section dude. There's airbox mods for both Gens... if your confused about what Generation you have read the FAQ or the History of the 4-Runner on here.
