Question Coating for headers

I bought a set of TRD headers and was wondering if it's worth it to have them ceramic coated? Jet Hot wants $175 and a local shop wants $210. I see that The Eastwood Company sells header paint, will this do anything other than rust prevention? Will it help to keep them cooler?

I had mine done by Performance Coatings in Satin Black. It came out really nice.

Did it make a performance difference? I don't have a clue. I doubt it would even show up on a dyno.
