clutch squeak NOT BUSHING
i am going crazy here. i removed the torsion spring/bushing about a week ago and replaced it with a linear spring, and i thought the squeak was gone for good. well now i have a different squeak. at first i thought it was 1 or both of the plunger switches, but i'm pretty sure its not. the annoying thing is that i cannot reproduce the creak when i am looking at it pressing the clutch with my hand, but only when i am driving.
at the same time that i put on the linear spring, i followed christian's advice from this thread (https://www.yotatech.com/forums/show...ght=cotter+pin) because i thought this might solve a different click noise i've been trying to track down.
well, that actually made it worse. i now have a very noticable creak ONLY when i release the pedal. after shifting, it creaks when i take my foot off the pedal, maybe the last half inch or so of the pedal travel.
again, this isnt the clutch bushing thing, because it still creaks even with no spring at all. i'm almost positive it has to do with play where the pedal and fork connect, but i have tried a washer, rubber washer, lock washer, and none of them stop it.

Have you tried spraying the mechanism down with a spray lubricant?

well i spread some grease on the components that connect the pedal to the fork thing...it worked for that day, but the next morning it was back again ...

Check the pedal assembly for any cracks and fluid leakage around the boot of the clutch MC. It's possible that the assembly itself is faulty or the clutch MC is letting air into the hydraulic systema and the piston in the cylinder has worn down.
