Question Clutch Q

First of all I want to say thanks to the guys who gave me advice on replacing my master and slave cylinders for tm,y clutch. I did it this weekend and it went well.

The only strange thing now, is I find the clutch is engaging very close to the top of the pedal stroke. I am assuming this has to do with my "Free Play" adjustment on the pedal. My question is, What direction should I be moving the freeplay adjustment. My assumption is I should be scrwing it toward the firewall. Is that correct? Would the height of my pedal also play a role in this?

Thanks again guys...

your free play adjustment would affect how far your clutch goes before it does anything so yes it could be that. I know since i got my new clutch put in it catches closer
