Just noticed recently that when turning full lock right that there is a single clunk sound. I have noticed it three times now. It doesn't happen every time, and when it happens, it only happens while right lock, not left lock.

Anybody noticed the same thing, or know of what may be wrong?

Mine does the same, but mine is a 1995 and yours is brand new.

actually.. its part of the steering column and he said it's nothing to worry about

your car is still under warranty, take it in! does it do this every time or randomly?

Thanks for the reply. It doesn't do it everytime, only randomly. I have heard it both when the car is cold and after being left in the sun.

The first time I heard it I thought a stone had been shot out from under the tire to hit the underside, but I was manouvering into a parking space and wasn't going fast enough!

mine makes many clunks some times, others makes only one clunk. it acutally sounds like something is breaking, pretty nerve racking if you ask me.

also some times it doesnt do it either

i would still take it in to toyota, or atleast call them and ask them what's up
