Chrome wheels, but from where?
I've got a 97 with chrome wheels. They look exactly like the regular 6spoked wheels that everyone with that year seems to have. But they are chrome. The problem is I lost a center cap, and the dealers are telling me that they don't have them, toyota didn't make chrome wheels. I've seen a pair of the same wheels on ebay, so I know I'm not the only person with them, but no one can tell me anything about them. Sucks. I need that cap to cover my rusty hub. Anyone know where to go? I don't.

Yeah, I'll get a pic. Of course, this was the dealer that told me a highlander edition scooped would not fit on my truck. I guess I'll just stick to ebay or have one dipped.
Hey jscarr, do your neighbors center caps have the toyota logo on them? Mine don't, but the ones on ebay had gold logos in the middle. thanks

Talking about caps..
I have the udgly ones with the darn symbol. I want the ones I see all the time on the newer tacos that spell out TOYOTA...
I can't find them...I guess I could ask the dealer..but after I was quoted $140 for two mudflaps...I do not want to deal with them again. (thank gawd for autozone)

Just throwing this out there for anyone else who may at sometime lose a chrome cap, I finally found a place to get them fairly cheap. they also have regular caps 4 for $30. Not bad.

If you see a 4Runner with factory chrome wheels, they didn't come from Toyota™ that way. They were done aftermarket.
