Check out my new wheels! ***UPDATED!!
Hey Guys,
I wanted to share with everyone the new to me wheels on my 4runner. I got these used limited 5-spoke wheels from a fellow yotatecher on here, and they were a little roughed up. So, I sanded them all down and got them lookin all purty. Primed them...Painted...and Clear coated them. This was my result and I think it looks pretty freakin sweet on the 4runner...!
Thanks to Christian for his great video on how to do this. I used most of his tips and pointers to accomplish this job with a few things I had to tweak for my use.
Sorry about the pictures...I'll get better off-roading pictures later.
Before....

Here are a few more pictures!!!

Yeah...the bumpers were the reason for the color choice. Its time to get rid of those chrome fender flares though...a lift and a maybe get rid of that brush guard. Not sure what to do with the old split 3-spokes though...don't know whether to keep and get some tires for or sell'em.
By the way, I used Duplicolor performance wheel paint from Pep Boys. Just in case any one was looking at painting their wheels, I was impressed wth the quality. At $6.50 a pop it better be!

Glad it helps...let me know if you have any questions about it. Also, search for Christian's "how to paint your wheels" on youtube. It was very helpful.
I had a friend of mine come up to me after the wheels were on and say "you killed it!...now it looks like a jeep!". I guess to the untrained eye the wheels might resemble that of a cherokee or one of those new liberty's with the off road package that includes having your wheels color matched and have the stock mounted lights on the roof (I don't keep track of jeep crap). Needless to say that after that comment, he's not my friend any more!!

Its Dupli-Color High Performance Wheel Coating and its color code is WP102 Graphite. Which I would agree with Fuzion that it is basically a gunmetal.
I'm heading out to do some housing work in this rural area by where I live, I'll snap a few better photos and update later today.
edit: I agree I think the black center caps give it some added styling to go with the truck color. Thanks UNR. Grad...they worked out better than I could have hoped! Bumpers are in the near future...probably a TJM-17 as I can't justify spending $800 for the 15 or likewise for an ARB.

You could get black lugs, but I wouldn't really bother with it. The only thing that looks out of place are the chrome fender flares (like you've already said). Get some bigger color-keyed flares, and I think the bumpers would look better painted black. And if I personally could change something, it would be to get rid of the brushguard up front.
Just my opinion, though.
