Check out my new Toyota!

This is my second one of these! My other one had 330k miles before I donated it (I needed a bigger car at the time). It still ran like a champ though.

Anyway this is a 1984 Tercel 4WD wagon. It is virtually rust free because it's been in Texas all it's life.

You'd be hard pressed to get this thing stuck. I love this thing in the snow, that's why I got it. It serves as my winter car while my 4runner is stored in my garage.

I love the 6 speed gearbox. It has a "EL" gear which stands for Extra Low. Basically a creeper gear for when you really get stuck.

How about some lift(maybe SAS) and bigger tires. A roof rack, lots of lights, a highlift.............

I've driven those, they are strangely fun.

Bought it from a wholesaler down in San Antonio for $1000 bucks. I was actually thinking of re-selling for more but changed my mind. I know I could double my money being how clean it is.

They are fun to drive especially in the snow. I love the looks of SUV owners faces as I pull away from them from a light.

They actually make a front bumper with lights for these, I just need to find out who sells them. I saw them years ago when I had my other one. I did just buy some PIAA 510's so I might mount them on the bumper.

Cool, awesome find. Last time I saw a vehicle with a "granny" gear was a 1986 Chevy p/u with a plow attachment, had a three speed with a "G" where "1" would normally be.

Does this one have the factory clinometer installed?

I rented one of those years ago when I went skiing out in Colorado. I still remember cruising the streets of Frisco in that thing. It did go great in the snow...

I am suprised no one here has offered big bucks for his inclinometer. I don't know if this car has one, but many of the ones you see around come from these tercels.

One small problem with this idea...he's still using the car!

The inclinometers only come in the SR5 models. This is a picture of one I almost bought. Unfortunately it sold before I got to it.

Look at the seats on the SR5 model! They have these crazy handles on the side of them...cool!

Now thats what I call a sweet deal! Looks pretty clean inside and out. Try to get some RTI pics, see what the Tercel is capable of, there's got to be reason why the inclinometer's installed.

Those are the exact seats that are in my truck right now, except they are blue plaid instead of brown. I've put covers on them and removed the handles cuz of the uglyness, but they're pretty comfy.
