interior lights
or
dash lights
or
instrument cluster
or
back panel lighting

BE careful though because the size of the light bulbs are very model specific. I know this because I have a 2000 Limited and the dash lighting uses different size light bulbs than another model.

The cheapest and easiest way seems to be to just get a cover on the gauges. Look at Mtriple's post in this thread:

https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f2/a...-bulbs-138602/

I don't know the quality of the light output, though, so PM him about it.

or you could wrap the individual bulbs with colored syran wrap. or plasti-dip the bulbs. i used syran wrap in my ranger and it worked well. the hardest part was dash disassembly.

Really, reading is your best friend. It is pretty simple to switch out all of your dash lights. I changed all of mine to blue LEDs. Check out the thread that Fo_Sheezy posted above.
