Can too much fuel pressure be bad?
I was reading in my Haynes manual that the fuel pressure should be between 33 and 37 psi. When my injector cleaning was done at the dealership, my friend forgot to disconnect the fuel pump. So the pressure indicator was reading about 75 psi. There was fuel dripping out of my tailpipe. The fuel line going to the fuel pressure regulator started leaking. Does anyone think this could have messed anything up? Fuel pressure regulator, injectors, clogged up my cat, O2 sensor?
I don't have a check engine light.
I've noticed that my truck has sounded different ever since that night after it was done. The sound is loudest by the front two doors. It's more like a put-put. It sounds almost like an exhaust leak, but I'm pretty sure I don't have one. I really wish I could get a sound clip.
I'm hoping someone here could give me a little insight.
Thanks
