Can leaving my 'SRS' warning light unattended to, have caused my CEL to now light up?

Can leaving my 'SRS' warning light unattended to, have caused my CEL to now light up?
01' 4x4 taco SR5. 80,000 miles. SRS light went on/Horn stopped working about 3,000 miles ago. I just honestly have been too busy to look into it. Today while driving my CEL light went on. Could driving around with the SRS light on have finally caused the CEL to go off? Cause i did the general connections/fluids/and visual lookover and everything else looks sound. No noises or anything. Any ideas?

SRS and CEL have nothing to do with each other,you have 2 seperate system problems..By the horn stop working,coinciding with the SRS light,most likely its the clock spring or wiring in the column harness.CEL ,who knows untill you get the code pulled.
