Busted Headlight

Just noticed a rock has killed my driver side headlight. Its a small hole that is letting in water/condensation.
Do I have to buy the whole assembly or can I get just the outter glass?
Are there any plastic aftermarket assemblys?

mine is the same way... I didn't know it until i was cleaning my car and noticed. There is a whole bunch of water spots in the back of it and a little dirt and debris on the bottom. I tried everything to seal it just seams nothing held up. I finally said screw it and placed a small peace of scotch tape (you know, the clear kind you seal packages with;heavy duty) To my surprise, it's actually done better than everything I tried before. I've been through hot and rainy weather to cold and rainy. It's there to stay

Heat gun or put them in the oven on the lowest setting for about 10 minutes. I have heard it is harder with the heat gun because as you are working your way around the seal the other half is cooling. Just make sure you don't melt or scorch anything.

It would be nice if someone made a plexiglas lense / replacement part. I dont want to buy another glass one @ $200 each only to have it happen again.

Well you don't want to melt or scorch the one that is going back on your truck.

As for plexiglass, plexiglass is not all that durable. It is can fog over time and scratches very easily.
