Brembo rotors and Performance Friction pads are on!

I stalled long enough (chicken because I never touched brakes before) but gathered my tools, parts and feathers and headed over to a friend who's a Ford mechanic (EEEASY!!!). It took me about 45 minutes to do both front wheels and that was because he spent time tutoring me and we lost the bottle opener at one point. I was surprised how easy it went (both the brake work and finding the opener...).

The 'Runner doesn't come to a shaky halt anymore and, although I only have about 80 country miles on the pads, I already can feel the extra braking power; not a show stopper, but a definate improvement. My pal thought it was a shame to remove pads that looked almost new (after 68,000 miles?).

I bought the Brembos from Tire Rack ($103.84 w/shipping) and the PF pads from http://www.raceshopper.com/ ($48 w/shipping). I could have done better locally but I was busy at work and this way they were at the door.

That's always a show stopper.

Waking up an old thread.
Can you give me a part number on the PF pads for the 4runner (I think they might
originally be made of the LC. Thanks (just ordered Brembos too)
