Getting new tires to go along with my sonoran steel kit. Has anyone used these....by the looks of my search it appears not. I like the tread style but big O wanted $225 a pop! I told them that price was crazy but he tried to justify it by saying it has a full warranty. cool design though, kind of a MT AT hybrid.

those don't look ALL THAT different than the Kumho Road Venture A/T's - granted they aren't as stout looking, but they are under 1/2 the price...
Might be worth checking into...I run them, they grip great offroad.

For that kind of money, I would much rather have Wrangler MTR's.

For that price you can get BFG's or Wrangler MTR's for sure. I haven't had very good experience with Big O brand tires. The service is good, and they are good to deal with as a shop, but I don't like the quality of the tires at all.

just found this site but never used the site before, but i'm going to try it next time around. they have some pretty cheap prices. freight will be the killer though.

I've looked at these tires too. The look like a cross between the Wild Spirit Trailcutter M/T and their R/T. I can even see a little Nitto Terra Grappler in there too. Good looking tire IMO, but yeah, I've heard bad things about Big O tires. For the price, I'd run from those! FWIW, I'm leaning heavily to the Maxxis Bighorns right now.

I don't know how Big-O tires stay open, they're always way expensive. Honestly, from the treads I looked at they seem to be your household name tires rebadged with "Big-O" on the side and a bigger price tag.

My neighbor just dumped his Big O tires at something like 25 or 30k miles... almost worn bald. Ridiculous.

I got 285 BFG AT's for $182 at Big O last week, they price matched Discount Online. Service was great, although I had to have the fronts rebalanced (no charge) and they're golden now.

We have a set of those on one of the work trucks. They are quieter than regular muds and still have a pretty aggressive tread. Do well on and off pavement, but that truck is off pavement at least 50% of its time in use. They have held up fine on a chevy half ton for less than 10k miles.

Depends on your driving really, for my money and my situation I would go with BFG muds.
