betrayed the yota.
well, I couldnt find a runner I could afford and now that I totalled the car got no way to get the money, so I bought a real cheap truck, it is a 84 nissan king cab, 5 speed, 4x4, nopt much power at all, but I guess thats what 4 low is for. it is real straight but has some rust on the bed, and it had been sitting for a long time, it only has 160k on it, and I know nothing was leaking and just cleaned cuz there is liie mice nests and stuff all over in nooks and where you know theyve been there for a long time and there is no signs of leaks anywhere. I replaced the plugs/wires/oil/filter/air filter. for some reason the cap/rotor slipped my mind.
it runs good too, the best part is it cost me 715 bucks.
tomorrow I am gonna remove the steel tube bumpers and repaint them black, and even though the paint isnt bad besides the bed I am giving it my special paint job, a few different colors of the rattle can. I am just gonna crank the torsions a inch or two, get a 2 inch lift block in the rear, and then a BL I found on ebyab for them for 70 bucks. then maybe some 31 inch swampers, just gotta find some gears.
anyways I am still gonna get a runner sometime, hopefully sooner than later, but its still on the wishlist.
ill post a pic of the before and after shots of the paint job even though it isnt a yota.

Clean it up, fix it up, sell it and get another Toy...although there is nothing really wrong with Nissans. Whenever I try any other brand vehicle, I always come back to expensive Toys. They just "feel" right.

yeah, it was definately a deal for 700, I am not sure what it is capable of cuz I havent had it out in the woods yet, but I am just going over everything before I go out and trash it. while I was doing the tune-up I got out the grease gun, but couldnt find a zirk anywhere, no ball joints or nothing had them. still gota change the gear lube in the diffs and tranny, but they were sold out when I was at the store yesterday. also the tires are the gayest looking things ever, pretty small and no way theyd do much good of road, they are gonna get replaced with a set of 29/8.50 swampers probably, I would wanna go with the 31 or 33's maybe cuz I am gonna lift it a few inches and I dont mind cutting the fenders but the rims are really narrow and I dont wanna buy new rims and heard the cheap rims- the rockcrawlers are really heavy. so I gotta get something narrow like that 29 since nothing else I found was an 8.50. plus still havent been able to find a set of lower gears or even what my gears are. my recruiter told me he had one of these and went down to 4.88's over the stock 4.10's so maybe thats what my truck is.
