Best Deal Ever - S/A and Turbo kit
I went to a buddies house to pick up a brake proportioning valve for my truck and a 22RTE exhuast manifold with turbo. Expected price was 100 bucks. After getting out there heres what I picked up:
22RTE stuff:
upper and lower intake manifold
fuel rail with injectors
engine wiring harness
exhaust manifold
turbo
turbo coolant lines
air box
air induction tubes
oil filter adapter
ECU
heat shields
misc. stuff
AND:
84 solid front axle with everything on it.
The best part, my buddy decided he couldn't take advantage of me and he really didn't want the stuff, I paid 85 bucks for all of it.
Now, what should I do with all this turbo stuff? Is the 22RE computer capable of running the turbo or do i need to use the computer i got with the stuff? I wasn't plannin on putting the turbo stuff on now, but I haven't decided.... What does everyone think?
Oh and the solid axle is going to have to wait a while, I just lifted the IFS and so far it does everything I need it to.

the re wont control the turbo... you need the turbo... sounds liek you have everything though... almost a pretty straight forward swap... not sure if the head matters if its a turbo or not... i thought i heard that the efi and carb heads were different somehow, like smaller chambers or something... maybe the turbo is different or the same as well...
i say swap on the turbo! looks liek you got most of the parts
