Bandit Runner's SS1.2 Lift Installed
I finally got my SS1.2 lift installed after purchasing it in April. I met another YotaTech member who is local to me, and he helped me install it. Actually he did most of it, and I just assisted. (Huge thanks Tom! ) Then we took my old lift and installed it onto his '97 since his suspension was shot. YotaTech members helping YotaTech members = Awesome! I forgot to bring my camera, so no installation pics, but here are a few after I got home.
All I can say is that the ride is much improved over the Daystar spacers/OME 890's I had. The front is probably sitting a little high due to the fact that I have no front bumper on. I really need to finish my custom bumper soon. Hopefully in July.

looks good man. get that bumper back on, the last thing you want is a would be fender bender turning into a major front end replacement.
dude u need an ARB bumper. that would be sick.
time for 33's
Also, forgot to mention in the first post that I gained exactly 1" of height in both the front and back with the new lift over what I had before (Daystar 2.5"/OME 890's).

Tires
I am probably going straight to 35's.

I've been searching near and partially far for some goodyear wrangler 37"/12.5 R16.5 military OZ hmmwv (High Mobility Multi-Wheeled Vehicle) tires.

Those would be sweet on my runner, but at 37"?! might never fit in the stock well. I know I'd need some mad lift/suspension work and even then they might not even fit.
I've been trying to get some for almost free, but it seems that it might not happen.

It looks great. What was your old lift? I am looking at doing a lift but I am not to sure which way I should go? I know that about 80% of my driving is on the road going to work. Most of the off roading will be back roads hunting in the woods. My 4runner is the SR5 model with the 3.4L and 15 inch rims. Do you have any recommendations?
