Badlands edition

Can someone tell me if the Badlands edition ever came with Leather interior as an option?

Also, what's the difference between the Sport models and Badlands? Or are they one in the same? I originally thought the Sport models were only 2WD...??

PS. I am looking to purchase a Badlands edt. if anyone is looking to sell.

Badlands Edition? Sounds like a local/regional marketing trim package. Sorry, just never heard of it. Maybe it's a Canadian thing?

The Badlands edition is a Canadian thing. I don't think this model came with Leather. I think its a base SR5 4Runner with Limited style fenders and the hoopscoop.

There were 3 models; base or standard, SR5, and Limited.

Sport was an option package that came out in 1999. "SR5 models gained an optional Sport Package that added fender flares, fog lamps, hood scoop, and color-keyed bumpers."

2wd started in 1996, in base and SR5 only.
2wd was available for the Limited starting in 1997.

In '99 the Highlanders still had the SR5 flares and then the Limited style version came on the '00s and I'm glad I have the smaller ones.

The rockers both sides between the doors are shot, about 8" each side.. one corner on the back passenger side on the rocker too.. pretty easy looking fix. Other than that, thats pretty much it! Tires and brakes are pretty much new, frame and floor are solid, body is clean and solid and she drives nice. I had a 95 with a 3L before and this is 10x the truck, motor included lol.
