help please i'v searched but caint find the awnser.
if i get the bfg km2 33x10.50x15 and put them on Pro Comp rock crawler Wheels Series 97 15x8 which back spacing do i need?
i only see them in a 3.75 and a 4.00 i think.
and will the center cap on these wheels fit over my manual hubs?

Wut year truck you have i know TTora has a list of wheels that fit and dont fit and i know those wheels would not fit on my 97 tacoma cause of the brakes

You must use 16" wheels to clear the brakes.

Also, the backspacing on stock wheels is around 4-5/8". If you plan to run tires that are 11" wide or wider, you will need less backspacing. Best is to test mount your wheel tire combo.

FWIW most that run 33"-35"X12.5" tires run a 3.5" backspaced wheel like the Mickey Thompson Classic II's.

I have around 5" of lift body and suspension with 4.5" backspaced wheels and a -12mm offset. I clear the UCA's just fine but get frame rub at full lock. I will be installing 1" wheel spacers to alleviate that problem.

Do some searching and you will find many answers.

how is that the stock wheels are 15" and they fit over the brakes why cant i get 15x8" wheels with 3.75 backspacing?

the problem with backspacing is u change the scrub radius 9 times out of 10 depending on how u change it u can get some weird tire wearing

but how is a 15x8" wheel going to not fit over the brakes when the stock wheels are 15"s

My bad, I thought you had the larger brakes that require 16" wheels. so obviously 15's will work. Good luck.

thanks. so what do you think about the backspacing i need im going to get a 3" toytec lift and i might get a 3" body lift down the road

Not sure about the 4 runners, but in some other vehicles I have owned the stock 15" wheels are steel and therefore the metal is thinner (cause its a stronger metal).

Alot of your aftermarket wheels are aluminum which is a softer metal therefore the ID of the wheels is a little smaller due to the fact they have to be made thicker to maintain the same level of strength. Which could create the need to go to a larger diameter even though your stock ones worked fine.

Its definitely something to pay attention to when buying new wheels.

my stock wheels are not steel. but i talked to 4 wheel parts thats where i was going to get them from and they said that they would not fit over the brake caliber.
wich wheels will fit my tacoma in 15x8"?
