ARB Tacoma bull bar- wiring turn signals.

So as I have mentioned several times, I got a used ARB bullbar for my tacoma. Its own now (pics later, its dark out), but I still need to hook up the turn signals.

I had access to a manual since parksoffroad has one scanned, but the directions for wiring the lights are a little sketchy for me. I know what "Scothloks" are, I think I even have some (my moms next door neighbor works for Ameritech ( or whatever they are called now) and she gave me a handful of them a while back. My (sorry it took so long) question is: do I just cut my factory turn signals off- snip snip- and scotch lok the new ones in, as described in the manual (what the hell is a loom?), or is it a little more subtle than that?

If its just snip-snip, then I'm good to go. Otherwise, clue me in.

Thanks,
Ian (I gots to start making my posts more concise :pat: )

a loom is a harness, as in the wires for the lights. Snip the old off, add new connectors, attach wires and you will have turn signals.

I figured they meant harness, just one of those amusing aussie to american things (I imagine).

Sounds like it is just snip-snip, so I should have no trouble being legal before I leave the driveway in the morning.

Thanks gang.

They are correct in what they say here, but for the most part on cars the wiring loom has come to meaning the black plastic stuff that either wraps around the wires or the ones that ara of a tube type with a split running the length of it.....

Totally saving 'em-I'm a bolt on mod kinda' guy, cause you never know (especially when the bank owns half your truck).
