Hello Everyone,

I have a 98 4runner that i will be putting the taco arb bumper on. does anyone know any good web sites that have pictures of the modifications to the frame rails i will need to make? thanks!

If you don't find what you need when searching on YT, A couple of other sources you can try are the Toyota folder on Pirate

or TTORA.com

Spend your time searching if you go there, if not be prepared to get flamed , not the most user friendly crowd, but a lot of good info on fabrication etc

just check my profile. the only modifications you have to make is grinding down the flanges on the ends of the frame so the bracket can slide on, very simple

Yes, it is very simple. The instructions you get with the bumper should mention it too. I will add this though, when you grind down the upper and lower tabs on the end of the frame rails, you may want to weld up the spots where you ground down. You will see what I mean when you get there. The reason is, you bolt the special shock absorbing bumper mounts to that spot, and thus it is the foundation of your bumper now. If you plan to do any winching with it, you may feel more comfortable knowing that the end caps of the frame you ground on, are not going to pull apart under a heavy load. Just my .02!
