Just noticed this on ebay today and wondered if it was anyone's on here. Looks pretty nice though. The rims are a little too much bling for my taste.

For performance, I have a K&N air filter installed as well as a Magna Performance Exhaust system. The truck gives a nice deep throttle sound when revving the V8. I also had a 2.5 inch lift kit professionally installed which gives this SUV a nice big stance. All of these additions give this truck some capabilities off-road (field tested in New Mexico). These additions improve gas milage to 13.2 city (according to the computer-controlled fual gauge).
An improvement? Is the MPG that bad to begin with?

yes, the MPG is pretty bad to begin with. even with just some 31.5" tires, i only get about 12 MPG or less (then again, I've always thought the little computer that calculates that on my truck is wrong, since it thinks my average speed is 11 mph) ...

Wow, my 16.6 leadfoot/mixed mileage suddenly doesn't seem so bad!

OH! I just read the auction, that thing is running a brand new Daystar kit from me in the front and my Revtek stuff in the rear!!! The shop and I had a field day as we removed the NE stuff because his XREAS was damaged. It is a sharp truck (and it was never driven with the NE stuff - we replaced it with parts from me [daystar and revtek] before it was driven) ... and he is a great guy to deal with. I'm actually surprised he's selling it ...

If someone is actually serious about buying one, DO NOT BUY THAT ONE!

There is a reason his ad was removed from the forum.

He's selling it for $33,000 + ???? Not worth that. At all. With the crap they had to do to fit the 37s and obtain 9" of lift, it is more like he should have to pay others to buy it from him.

That makes me so mad ... because the person who buys that isn't going to have ANY idea about what was done to that truck, and the horrible parts that are still on it (from NE, rear spacers -- at least three people had their rear spacers crack).

...which is why you would be totally in the right to "inform" them of their purchase.

True, but I sure as heck would want to know about a vehicle that could potentially cause harm to me or my family/friends. I would appreciate someone contacting me about that.

I know what you are saying though...

Yeah, just don't know how. If there was a way to post comments about these auctions on them so potential buyers coudl see, I might ... but then again, there's not a whole lot I can do and it isn't really up to me. I guess this sort of thing happens all the time when buying and selling used vehicles. You never know what it's been through before it found its way to you.
