anyone got a beach rig??

since theres no rocks where i live i do a lot of beach driving for many of my fishing locations..im looking for some pics to get ideas of some things to do..im looking to add rod holders maybe a cooler rack..and just general accessories you have in your trucks for the beach and fishing....thanks in advanced

some frog looking set up with wide tires is what i see floating over the soft sands back at home in hawaii. though many people bash that style over here, it gets the job done there. its so common and played out i think sometimes, it gets excessive. i like it though, short and thick like a pitbull. haha.

hmmm

that looks very similar to where i was with my 4runner last weekend...i was at punta cabras on the beach in baja, south of ensenada, west of santo thomas. where where you?

If i ever get around to having a bumper fabbed, I want a 2" receiver in it to switch between a winch carrier and rod mount. Gotta love surf fishing!!!

thanks for the link...that company has some quality looking rod holders...all i have is that thule rod holder on my factory rack...im going to be getting a yakima rack for it..i also plan on making a OBA system with my 2 mv50's so i can fill my tires as i get of the beach...

There is one very important mod for any vehicle that may be regularly driving anywhere on the beach- lots and lots of POR-15

I've had a couple of great beach vehicles - my 93 hilux was runner up and best was my H3.

New beach cruise hauls the kayaks on the Yakima

my '99 has a front mounted cooler rack with 8 rod holders and i stick a hitch rack on the rear for beach chairs,baitcooler,ect. rod tube lashed to roof rack....lil joe da fish ho
