Any diff btw OEM and aftermarket fuel filters ?
Gonna replace the fuel filter tonight.....my 3 slow has 170k and has responded really well to new plugs, leads, dist cap and rotor.
Anyway, I can get an OEM Toyota filter for $28 .... aftermarket is around $20.
Any differences that anybody here is aware of ??
Thanks
David

From my experience with Toyota, they like Toyota parts. Not really a direct answer, but Toyota quality is much better and $8 isn't enough difference to be worth it IMO.

I got Bosch plugs and Toyota Plug wires, dist cap and rotor for under $100 so it would be silly to save $8 (actually, I found one where I save $15) and do no good at all. From what I here, changing the fuel filter makes a big difference in driveability which I am looking for.
I am about 1/4 tank into my injector cleaner so will re-dose after the filter is done.
Thanks
