another shock question
Sorry for beating this subject to death, but Ive been reading the threads about front shocks and still haven't come up with a conclusion. I am contemplating the Bilestiens and the OMEs. I do not off-road avidly. I would say 90 percent of my driving is on road. What brand of shock do you recommend and what model? Thanks for your input.

Probably www.shox.com. There is another thread going (try searching) about a place that was offering them dirt cheap, but I think they ran out.
It would also help to know what rig you have.

the kind that fit.
seriously, you can only get one kind for a 4runner. you can get HD tundra ones for the front and they will work fine, but they are stiffer than the regular ones and you don't need that unless you have a bumper and winch.

I just talked to Mike last night and he is going to be away this weekend. Turns out his wife surprised him with a trip to Vegas for his birthday!

I also believe there is only one common application Bilstein makes for your 4Runner. I don't know if they are the cheapest, but this place had them in stock with a free shipping deal when I ordered mine:
