another electrical problem

My voltage regulater went out on my 92 p/u the other day. Fried my headlights. Had alternater rebuilt. Put Alternater back on but never rose to the normal Volts. That night volts started dropping and everything went haywire and lights got really dim. took it back to the place that rebuilt it and they said it tested OK. It charges somewhat for a while but nothing like it did then just slowly drops down. Anything it could be besides a faulty alternater? Fuse on the fenderwell looks good. ???

i suggest that you replace your main alternator lead cable, they can sometimes suffer damage from the incident you described;if that does'nt fix it, i'd check grounds & the other mains on your electrical system.
i hope this helps,
later,
