From where? The compressor, the belt, the blower fan, the vents?
or (if your not really sure)
Is it in the engine compartment or the cab?

Tacomas do experience issues with the AC idler pully bearing (usually from excessive mud running) so if it's in the engine compartment, that's most likely the culprit. About 6-8 bux at a local bearing house or 27-30 at the stealer. Hate to elaborate more in case that's not it. Super easy DIY fix tho so no worries there.

Leme know.

i only hear it in the cab... although i have not listened for it outside the truck but i ahvent noticed it either outside the truck. it seems like its coming from the vent on the passenger side against the window.

Ahhhh, definately not the bearing then.

The infamous duct wistle. I remember seeing a write up on that somewhere many moons ago. IIRC it has something to do with the blower wheel or some bushing on it's shaft or something. Sorry, not much help I know.

At any rate...good luck!
