Aftermarket 3.4 throttle body?

As question states, is there an aftermarket one available?

I searched and got no where, or does any other toyota one work?

I want to see if there is a direct replacement (or something similar) before i spend money on a custom adapter or have my stock ported.

Thanks in advance guys...

The only option I've ever heard of is boring the stock throttle body.

Ya thats what i figured.

Thanks for your input, i am getting a whole blown motor just for the intake manifold and chain cover plastic.

I guess i will just have to bore that one out...

I wanted to ask the same thing. My question is: will the newer V8 engine Throttle Bodies fit on the 3.4 5VZ-FE intakes? What about porting the intake as well?

I doubt it.

The pattern seems completely different.

I ended up having mine borred out to 64mm.

Just bore it out yourself. Bore the front end to the butterfly valve (not past it) with a Dremel and various grinding/polishing attachments. No, I didn't notice any gains when mine was N/A so I'm not so sure it's worth the trouble.

You can get quite the intake set up going if you want to gain a little HP and some throttle response:
  • Deckplate or elbow mod ($15 or free)
  • ISR mod ($6)
  • TB coolant bypass mod (been running this one for years - no issues) - $5
  • TB bore (Free if you have a Dremel)
  • O Gasket mod ($6)

I still have (3) O Gaskets left from when I used to sell them. $6 shipped. Email me if you want one.
