Advanced Timing Code 52 Question
I'v advanced my timing (turned the dirstributer to right or clockwise) and the 94 3.0 runs much more responsive. I failed to change out my cracked knock sensor wire. I do not want to go back under the intake until it's cfompletely necessary.
My question is what harm will come from driving with the code 52 check engine light?
Surpirsing the vehicle runs fine with lots of pep jsut the light is a nuisance.

What harm will result from driving
I am new to this knock sensor wire replacement. The reason the light is on is I didn't change the wire after doing the headgaskets. My question is if the vehicle is running fine and by fine I mean it's a stock 3.0 slo 94 4Runner cruisng 40 miles round trip each day at 2800 rpms when I'm going down the road at 60 mph. All I can notice is the "noisy" fuel injectors. Car doesn't lack adequate power, idles at 900 rpm when fully warmed up. I know I'll have to change the wire sooner or later but just want the "daily driver" use of it for now.
My only concern is what possible harm will driving it do to the engine?
