Adjusting valves
Looking for specifics on adjusting my valves. 87 22re. I know the specs on intake and exhaust, perform when hot. But what I cant remember is the timing mark crap. Somebody please refresh my memory. I havent done a valve adjustment in years.

The other link is about all you should need. Make sure you have a new valve cover gasket, the four grommet/washers under the cap bolts and since its been a while you might want to get the 'half moon' pulgs that go on the cylinder head to valve cover surface, no need to get a vac/oil leak if there old and brittle. If your having trouble getting the cover off make sure to take the washer/grommets off the bolts they can hold the cover on pretty good. I think the torque for the cap nuts is 15ft.lbs
just did this on my 85 22R a few months ago.
Good luck and happy wrenching
