ADDCO Front 1 1/4" Sway Bar CLEARANCED

Guys, not to sure how many are interested, but the much improved performance of the addco 1 1/4" front sway bar for our 3rd gens comes at a heafty price tag... sometimes as high as 200 bucks. I was on www.performanceproducts.com today and found them for 99 washingtons!!

You may want to use some of the samoleans you saved and get some Energy Suspension greaseable busings with a zerk fitting....

... mine is manually greased every 3 months or so and will squeak like and SOB when the grease runs out.

Does it come with new bushings and everything you need... i am in need of new bushing badly so i figured now was the time to replace it!

Yup.

Comes with normal bushings for the conenction to the frame and also for the sway bar end links in addition to new end links.

You recommend any type of quick disconnects or extended length end links if im putting on a 3 inch lift (tundra springs and 1" spacer)?

Do these make a difference in daily driving body roll? Or only in extreme conditions?

I loved the way my old 99 handled with bilsteins. Will go with those again. I'm just curious about these antisway bars.

took advantage of the price drop a month or so ago and installed and it does make a big difference. I did both sway bars and installed new hardware as per the write up. I did not go the greaseable bushing route and just drenched them in oil and the fronts just started squeaking. Guess what - going back to autozone and buying them. Do it once out there in radioland!

List the part numbers for the greasable fittings when you buy them... i will get them as well.

just go to autozone and look for 1 1/4 greaseable sway bar bushings, and some grade 8 hardware to mount them!

Didnt think it was that easy, but the part number for anyone interested for the greaseably 1-1/4" bushings from Autozone: 9.5165G (Made by Energy Suspension) Set listed for 19.99 online.

I could be an arse and tell you to search but as its a New year and I am feeling full of hope for all mankind, I did it for you This is what I said in December 06..

In my experience, especially when I had the SC on the 99, the rear Addco bar lead to me picking up and inside rear wheel under fast cornering in 2WD under power and spinning off the power very rapidly.

It also tended to want to make the truck oversteeer HARD when it happened which could be fun.

I found with a stock rear bar and an Addco front bar, overall performance significantly improved while not giving any worse driving manners... e.g. excessive push means you are going too fast and that is easily dealt with.

Rapid onset of oversteer is much less easily corrected until it is typically too late.

A lot of my driving is done in the winter on mountain roads on my way to the ski resort. The last thing I need is a tail happy truck that picks up one of the contact points with the road at an inopportune moment.

I would have gotten the front sway bar, but Canada sucks for shipping heavy stuff to your door.

Just got mine as well, and I went ahead and ordered the rear at the same time.

Thanks for the heads up on the good deal. I was about to get them from Summit for $50 more. Only one left at PP for $99.00.

If you can speedy, put the front on and drive the ลลลล out of it and then change the rear and let me know if it really makes a whole lot of difference. Im thinking about doing rear as well!

I think I can do that.

Now I just gotta figure out this bushing/hardware deal that I need to install this kit.
