Unhappy ABS light after carwash, any ideas?

Hey guys, I just went to he DIY carwash and hosed Green off. I sprayed the undercarriage and wheel wheels, etc. I used the high pressure soap, then rinse. Pulling into my neighborhood, the ABS light came on. Any ideas what could have tripped it?

Keep in mind that last weekend I did some light muddin' on our way out from camping. Before I tear into the troubleshooting tomorrow, any pointers or thoughts?

Might simply because some water or soap mixture was still on the rotors.

Try searching other have had this. I had an issue once and I just followed someone pictures on where the ABS sensor cables connect to the axels. You can easily take the off and try clean them and see if the light goes away (did for me)

My money is that the high pressure pulled loose one of the ABS wires that run under the passenger wheel well. When I pulled my diff a while ago I had to unclip the wires and I never got them to go back in right and the light says on all the time. Follow he wires from the sensor in the diff along the wires that run up the frame rail an I bet that one will be loose. There is a coupling inside the wheel well somewhere that I think might be the culprit.

I did search

Thanks for the replies guys. It fixed itself. It must have been some water in a foreign place, as someone mentioned. Thanks again!

More than likely it's the front sensors, take the bolt out and pull the plug out, make sure the metal tip point is clean and clean out any crud inside the hole, inside there is a gear and the sensor counts the teeth spining.

After the Manual hub install I has a bit of extra grease in there and my light tripped on, cleaned it out and it was fine.

There are also sensors on the rear axle. Which I guess you just messed with, make sure those are clean as well.

If it's crud, it will come back on. Mine went on and off for a while and then stayed on.

Thanks Steve, I will pull those sensors and wipe them off. I know exactly what you are talking about.
