About that 4Runner in my Avatar ...
Every time I post here after a long break, someone will ask me to show them a bigger pic. of the 4Runner in my avatar. So here you go.
This is the 'old' look of my Runner. I have seen upgraded its front to the new 2002 style + JDM parts.

The newer look
This is still not the most current look but close enough. Note the front horizontal protector (JDM) above the stock bumper. I have since painted the chrome piece into deep charcoal as well, also the moonroof deflector is now gone.

Nope, hood is not carbon fiber, just OEM. Is there a carbon fiber one available?
This is a close up of my wheels: , sorry, I'm not a big fan of chrome rims. ; )

Suspension: Not at this moment but I got Bilstein & PP's 1" lowering springs sitting in my trunk for quite some time. I am asking some Bostonian 4Runner owner from this forum to help me out. We will meet this weekend. It is so hard to find good yet inexpensive mechanics here in New England. Midas, Meineke, Sullivan Tires all won't touch aftermarket parts, well, not that I trust them for working on my Runner anyway ...
Regarding acquiring JDM parts, I imported those from Japan direct via an ex- biz partner of mine. There are many places on the Internet that can export parts to you direct. But 2 things: Landed cost & SKU#. We used to import JDM parts for resale but landed cost is very high and final MSRP is prohibitively expensive. Naturally, we stopped doing do except for personal use now. SKU#: Japanese export houses identify parts by this # and nearly nothing else.
If you don't mind paying 20 - 30% above those posted MSRP on Toyota Japan site and don't mind waiting 30 - 60 days for delivery, PM me. But parts are limited to the most recent ones for the 4th gen. *only*. I can't even get the front bumper protector that is on my Runner any more, I was stupid enough not to keep the box & jot down its SKU#.

or if you had it painted like a plan, i wish they could do a ghost millenium silver over it so at certain angles you could see the carbon fiber and at others not
