99 Taco Buggy help with the rigged rig..
This will probably turn into a long Thread since so much is rigged on this buggy.
So I picked up a 4seat buggy that was built from a 99 Tacoma has 3.4 with trd headers and airbox removed Auto trans, with tons running 37" tires. Was looking for something to tool around the dessert in with my wife and kids.
Well it runs and drives ok but after digging into it a little bit I want it to be much more reliable and done correctly.
Lets start with some of the issues.
1. Just about every vacuum line and sensor etc. Is either plugged, disconnected or removed. Not a big deal as we don't have emissions where I live but I want the engine to run properly.
2. All the stock dash is gone replaced with aluminum dash. Has aftermarket temp gauge, oil pressure gauge and gas gauge. Only the oil pressure gauge works.
3. Key switch only turns the starter on, has toggle switch for fuel pump and ign power. also toggle headlights, horn, radio and gps. No turnsignals or switch and no wipers.
4. The Transmission must be shifted manually, It has a billet shifter that has park reverse neutral 1 2 3. transmission does not shift automatically or have over drive. I think this will be one of the hardest to fix as I think most of the wires and sensors to control the transmission are missing or disconnected.
I'm going to get some pictures up tonight. If you guys have some thoughts or ideas what I should tackle or look at first or any other ideas hit me up.
Once I get this rig unrigged I am going to link it front and rear.
