99 4 runner with issues

i'm having problems with her 99 4runner, its got a real bad miss at about 50mph. we thought it was a coil pack so had it checked out and thats not the problem. the plugs look good. we had it scanned and it's coming up as a misfire on the #6 cylinder. could it be an injector or plug wire? i'm at a lose here so any help would be "pre-shaded" it's got the 3.4 v6 in it with 165k miles

You could check the resistance in the plug wire with a voltmeter to rule that out

At 150,000 my 4Runner wanted a new MAF sensor and an oxygen sensor. That improved things a lot.

she had that changed at about 145k, so i'm hoping thats not the problem. i'm going to take it and have new plugs and wires installed asap. crossing my fingers that takes care of the problem. we scanned it once and it came up as a misfire on #6, so we moved the coil pack to #4, the problem was still there scanned again and still came up as a misfire on the #6. so i think that eliminated the coil pack being bad.

obviously, check wires (run it at night, and look for sparks between wires/block)
other than that I am useless on help, sorry

sorta related, if it is purely related to RPM, check main crank bolt (the one that holds on crank pulley), mine came loose and was causing missing at 4200-4300 rpm, but no CEL
