98 Tacoma questions!

Hopefully someone can help me. I have been wanting to put 33's under the yota but don't know the best way. Some people have told me a leveling kit (2.5 to 3 inches), some have said 3 inch suspension and some have said 3 inch body.

Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated? Thanks

I think you should start by reading this page..

To answer your question, though. A "leveling kit" and a suspension lift are basically the same thing.
A leveling kit is as cheap as you can go. Crappy spacers. Not good to add spacers on top of your already worn out springs. This would normally be paired with blocks or add a leafs for the rear.
A suspension lift would be something like aftermarket coilovers and full rear leaf packs. Price goes up. Look at something like Old Man Emu, All-Pro, Icon, etc.
A body lift, well, I don't recommend them. A small 1" body lift is cool but after that, they're useless in my opinion.

So would you recommend just buying a suspension kit? They seem like the best!

Depends on what you mean by "suspension kit." If you mean coil overs and full replacement leaf packs and not spacers and blocks, then yes.

Never used them but they have never been known for their ride quality or quality of the parts.
