Hi,
I tried to switch into 4wd the other day and to no avail. I checked vacuum and there is vacuum in only one of the hoses. I believe it is the 2wd vacuum line. When it is shifted into 4wd the vacuum does not switch tubes as it is suppossed to.

There are two vacuum hoses that go into the front diff. The one on the side had vacuum while the other did not. I have read that the vacuum should switch from the red to the blue vsv when the car is switched into 4wd. It does not switch at the vsv.

I will be checking if the wires coming into the vsv has power and switches when it is shifted into 4wd. If it does than the vsv is bad and I need to replace it. If it does not than my question is what controls the wires going to the vsv. If anyone knows where to look nixt that would be great.
