I wanna put a pop-up camper on my '97 Tacoma with stock suspension and supersprings.

The Palamina Bronco Camper is about 1100 lbs. Is this too heavy for my older Tacoma?

Thanx

Red face

:jessica: Just How often and how far do you plan to travel??

If this is a once and done thing maybe but for constant use I don`t think I would want to do it.

That 1100 pound weight is minus all the extra goodies you need to camp which will add weight real quick.:jessica:

Well its not, not fine. wyoming9 has a good point, thats the camper weight then your goinna add gear, water, and such. But its still doable if done right. Check out this guy's setup its pretty nice.

Thanks for sharing that. Part of what I cant do is pour more money into beefing up my suspension and tires on top of the cost of the camper.

Just gotta be happy in the tent!

Air bags arent that much. Actually the cost of a nice tent is pretty comparable to an air bags setup for a taco.

These trucks are pretty capable.
