96 4runner

I just bought a 96 4runner and was wanting to know if anyone can tell me what fluid the tranny takes----it is a 5 speed manual.....and any suggestions on the differentials??

75W90 for both as mentioned.

A good quality synthetic will offer less resistance in the diffs and trans/transfer, which could attribute to better MPG. Will also give easier cold weather shifting in the transmission. Redline or Amsoil are 2 brands that come to mind.
