Hey I have a 95 4x4 ext cab and the tranny shifts late in 1st gear, id does have 195k on it so I am guessing its time is up, but I was wondering if maybe it could be a solenoid or something because it only does it in first gear at take off, it shifts great throughout the rest of the gears. also if I do replace it, is an A340F interchangeable with the H and the E models, could I change the output with my existing one to mount the transfer, or can I only use the 340f?? thanks alot.

I would just change the fluid and filter 1st, then see where you're at. When was the last service? Mine does that sometimes when it's cold outside and the truck is cold, but once it warms up it lets go of 1st normally. My old 4runner did the same thing ('95).
