95 LE 4Runner-replacemnent indash 4" speakers wont fit
Hi All,
I just bought the 95 Limited Edition 4Runner SR5, and am putting in a new system - JVC pull-out cdstereo, Boss amp, Boss 6X9's in the rear, my Lanzar subwoofer and replacing the stock in-dash 3.5 (?) speakers as they are blown out. The replacement speakers for in-dash are (Brand - forgot
) but they are 4" speakers, I cannot find 3.5 or 3's, and they dont fit into the enclosure box thing. Does anyone know of an aftermarket or replacement enclosure that would replace the stock one and contain the new 4's ?

Technically, the size is called 4T, and it's kind of oddball. When I replaced mine about… jesus, over 10 years ago, I went with some Polks that were designed (supposedly) to fit a Toyota dash.
Really all is was was one diagonal set of mounting tabs was perforated and got removed so they would fit. The upper ear also had to be bent about 45°.
tl;dr - odd size, probably just have to modify new speakers
