okay call me stupid but i can't find the dipstick and i didn't check the oil before i bought it..but thats okay because it had the little oil change sticker on window and hadnt been that long ago when it got changed...

but i want to check it and cant find the stupid dipstick!! 91 4runner v6

I know where you can find a dipstick. Walk inside. Go to the bathroom and look over your sink. There should be a mirror there to show you right where one is.

Try tracing up from the oil pan, oh wait, if he can't find the dipstick, do you think there is a chance he knows what an oil pan even is? See first suggestion!

Never seen a 91 V6 but my guess would be look for the little dipstick handle. If it doesn't have a dipstick, you bought the WRONG vehicle my friend...

It's on the drivers side, about the middle, oh hell let me find a picture. Ok, it is in this picture, http://community.webshots.com/photo/...92263572fKwNmW It has a yellow handle and is between the distibutor and the air intake piping.

thanks ill look tomorrow when there is acutally light outside...

and i figured id get a smart ass comment for asking....
but im used to the lil ole 258 in the cj....all the extra efi and what not gadgets just make engine bays more crowded :-P
although it wasn't that bad in the 7mgte either...but that was another straight 6...maybe its just these damn v engines

The line between OKC and Edmond. I haven't been to Norman since the Bedlam football game last year and I had to listen to 70,000 sooners chant OSU sucks. We get you in Stillwater this year and there will be Hell to pay!

Just behind the distributor. Yellow one is oil. Red? one is auto trans.

yeah easily found in the daylight when i could acutally tell the difference between everything in that damn crowded engine bay
