90 amp fuse for alternator should be 80?
I just noticed in my runner, whoever had it before me put a 90 amp fuse in for the alternator, It says on the cover "80amp Alt" is that bad..

It depends on if the wires can handle it. If the fuse is higher than what the wires can handle then you run the risk of the wires melting the insulation and even worse so, the vehicle catching on fire. We had a customer that came in awhile back because they had soldered a cut paperclip on a fuse junction. His vehicle wouldnt start because the starter fuse wires had melted completely. I was surprised he still had a car after all of that.
