'88 Dash Light replacement
OK I give up, anyone know how to get to bulb that lights the heat control panel. Took the radio, ash tray, glove box, etc out, and related components but still couldn't find bulb to replace. It's '88 4x std cab p/u no a/c. Thanks in advance

Whoa! Your in the wrong area, it's much, much easier than that! Take your heater control knobs off, and at the right hand side of the heater control plate insert a small screwdriver or paperclip, and pry, they're pretty flexible but be careful, once you pry it out you can remove the face plate, the light is right smack in the middle, be careful when taking the light out as it has a colored condom on it. I took my condom off and replaced it w/a white LED light, much brighter. Take Care! Good Luck!

I took the panel to the stereo out to get to it or you can take the upper cup holder piece out as well, search on here there are multiple if not hundreds of threads on here on this exact bulb replacement. Good luck
