87 4Runner rear window relay mind of its own
So while i was paying my rent today, i let a buddy sit in my truck... he said the whole time he was sitting there he heard a clicking noise from inside the truck... i asked him where, he pointed to the direction of the rear window relay, so i hit up on the switch and made the relay click, asked him if that was it and he said ya.... now the key was out of the ignition, and the rear key switch was not in some half position... also the rear key switch if you wiggle it wont make it click, unless you turn it all the way.... anyone have an idea why my rear window relay suddenly has a mind of its own?
On a side note, my truck must have woke up on the wrong side of the driveway... the fan clutch decided it wanted to be stuck on all day, and for the last few days (only when its cold) you HAVE to double clutch it to shift gears because its like trying to paddle through a bucket of tar.... i think the fan clutch has something stuck in the bimetal spring, and the tranny has straight 90 in it... but i dunno, i borrowed the tranny from my mom. i guess its time for general maintainence....

Mine did the same thing, I would lower the window then it would go back up on its own. The next day the battery was dead . I put it on the charger and I could hear it clicking. I took the solenoid out and apart , and found it had water in it. I cleand it out put it back , good to go. I would suggest pulling it and cleaning the contacts.
