63" chevy rear springs on 98 taco?
has anyone done this before? any thoughts? if anyone has some pics, that would be super rad!
i plan on running tundra coils up front with either OME or TRD shocks which should yield me about 2.25" of lift
and then the chevy springs in the rear with bilstein shocks. i'm hoping to keep the rear level with the front, but i hear this setup gives about 2 - 3 inches of total lift.
from what i've heard, the ride quality of this front and rear setup is supposed to be outstanding. the flex should be pretty sweet too!
if anyone has pics, please post! thanks

has anyone done this? i read the thread on the pirate board about the chevy springs and the thread here on yotatech about the tundra coils, i really want to see some pictures of this setup on a taco though as most of the pictures i found are either older toyotas or 4runners.
thanks
thanks

Here in Chile it is very common to put 63 inch Chevy springs on the Hilux to gain wheel travel (flex) and improve the on road ride (less bouncy)
It is a very simple swap, you just have to reposition the leaf mounts, something similar to this (see attachment):
