Question 4x2 Custom Suspension...?

I'm looking into getting some suspension work done soon. The rear seems to be a bit higher than the front. I'd like to make both level, and then drop it down just a bit. And in turn, tighten up the suspension a little. I'd like to have a more "sporty" look and feel. I know nothing about suspension, so I was wondering you guys could fill me in on some things.

How much do you guys think it might cost to get this kind of work done? The trucks front tires seems to stick out the side a bit, so I could only go so low without to much rub.

I've also seen some of those air ride systems. Does anyone have any opinions/expierence/suggestions about those?

Below are some pictures of my ride height, Thanks for any input!

i like your truck, it's clean

you could probably get some lowering springs for the rear, and some kind of drop for the front(i'm not up to date on IFS). i'm sure there's something out there, checked any mini trucker magazines?

if i ever get another 2wd, i'm gutting the rear leaf springs and building a 3 link suspension with coilovers. back when i had an '84 2wd truck, i loved how it'd handle but the rear was kind of soft for my liking. it also looked jacked in the rear, kind of like an old muscle car.

Thanks for the post!

I think an air ride system would be fun. Does anyone have any expierence with these systems? How much do they cost? Thanks!

PS: I know this isn't exactly the correct forum for asking such questions, but thanks for tolerating me.

air ride systems arent cheap and since your truck is torsion bars up front is kinda going to just replace the stock shocks. so you would still need to have the torsion bars... honestly, air ride with torsions isnt a good idea.... you could do it to a taco easier but that would jsut be replacing the struts with a strut bag......

as for the rear, you can add a lift block

i thought you were going to raise it?
